This week-end I have been able to have some fun with the GoPro thank to it waterproof capabilities. Indeed during a little walk on the countryside where I grow up, I stumbled upon an old fountain that in the past was used by women to wash clothes. As good old tradition, the water comes directly from a ground river (I don’t know the english terminology), meaning that is very clean, abundant and free for all.

As the water is clean, it managed to create an ecosystem where some algae managed to grow over the decades, reaching a stability with the closed environment.

What made me think is that fact that for the first time, thank to this film, I have being able to observe the bubbles of oxygen that those algae are creating trough photosynthesis. Simply Amazing.

Then while writing this blog post, I started to think how this can apply to the everyday life of every one of us, so the resulting two cents quote is:

Sometimes we forget that important things are done silently, and because we don’t notice them we don’t give the right consideration.

This is wroth both to plants, but mostly to people that surround us (far away or near us), that help and support us but we are too blind to remember what they do.
