Today I was thinking on how Twitter s helping eLearning, but I will postpone that post for an another day. While I was writing I started considering the ways that I have available that can make help share my ideas and on how to reach the people that wanna listen to what I’m saying… everything based on the idea that there are systems like Plaxo and FriendFeed that help organize and share what you produce on the web… so I started to think on the automated web chains that the interaction between services permits… here is my map (click on it to enlarge)…

I tried to make this map as simple as possible… I put inside all the web service that I have a subscription with and linking them to the “aggregator services” that are so fancy in today. I have seen that of automated there is really nothing important. But let’s explain the elements of the map:

On the scheme is shown with arrows the ways that those services links and interact between each other, looking closely for example I can see that when I blog, the feed is shared with Plaxo, FriendFeed and Twitter, and I can reach people trough those different services… when I twit the feed is shared in Plaxo, FriendFeed and my Blog (trough a widget)… and so on… with all the different services that we use and are subscribers I have to say that there isn’t a lot of automation between the services… I would love for example that once i post a new entry on my blog that could be shared also by the link-sharing services… we keep talking about full integration… but from what I can see from the map we are not very close to Integration…

There is the need to work on that… and I have to say that is good to see how the web services that you work with works for you automatically… how much time we spend trough social network, just to upload the same information? That in my opinion can open good business possibilities… Contact me with a comment on this post if you wanna do something… or if you create your “Integration Map“..
